ABOUT ME
After 8 ½ years in the concrete cutting industry a work related injury required a major back operation which made me look for opportunities in other areas of personal interest. I've always had an interest in computers from gaming though to general office use and thought that the growing demand of a recycling facility in Hawke's Bay would be a benefit to myself by occupying my time and the region benefits from a sorely ignored need. While recovering from the operation I become bored with the length of time that was required for recovery so I became active in the repairing and building of used computers which are available in abundance throughout Hawke's Bay.
I started to sell the rebuilt computers to those with limited or minimal funds. There has been interest from schools, community groups as well as the average family who wants their child/ren to learn how to use a computer as it has become a staple part of learning for many schools. The increasing interest and desire to allow computer accessibility for all has led me to where I am today - and I did it all on my own. I would have to say personally that I'm disgusted with the lack of support from local councils as I feel that they still have their heads buried in the sand over this increasing problem. I can now offer a 99% reclaim of E-Waste from your everyday Cell Phone and Pc to your old tube TV and much more.
